This large egg (ovoid) style vase measures roughly 9.5” high and 9.5” diameter, weighing 3 lb 12 oz (1.7 kg.) The bottom is signed “Ben Owen III 1995.”

Green ware style (Celadon ware) with pale gray/green glaze and the extensive crazing.

The glaze reflects shades of green from pale to dark depending on lighting..

This piece is decorated with subtle geometric etches and has areas with reddish brown undertones.

There is crazing/crackling throughout, but glaze is intact and smooth. There is one area of defect on the bottom rim (see images,) but it is original as it is glazed, and it does not effect the vessel's balance.
